Re: Change in new account creation disabled warning.
And I wonder why I never studied scripting, it's far to contradictory, and seems to be very, very, unsafe, I much prefer the language I was taught many years a go (ASM), simple, to send data, you have to open a destination first to receive that data, then send it, and when an EOF is detected, close ...

Re: Change in new account creation disabled warning.
If you removed that from new2.php, people can still create accounts by creating a page on their local machine calling new2.php resulting in creating an account when its has been disabled. How is that possible? PHP is executed server side only, and even if the person looked at the source, they still...

Re: Map does not show places visited.
When you say "headless" version of Linux does that mean the server software would be available for non GUI Linux versions?, And would the server software be running on a centralized platform, much like other online games, where the server is at a data center and the client software is down...

Change in new account creation disabled warning.
After a while I noticed the new account creation was a little off, so I investigated and found that if for some reason someone closed account creation by setting the variable $account_creation_closed in config.php to true, this would stop any new accounts, now here's the kicker, this only happens 'a...

Re: Is there a way to run this script on HTTPS?
I changed that line and other ones that have HTTP in the url, but I still get the same result, how do you find which items are insecure? It used to be I could click on the padlock and it'll show any insecure files or images, etc etc, but I can't do that with chrome.

Re: Is there a way to run this script on HTTPS?
I have,,,, all my web pages now use HTTPS except bnt, bnt is not a vhost, it's a sub-folder off of my main site, linked using Apache doc redirect, IE, my main site resides at /var/www/e107 (not html) and I set Apache doc root to that location, then I created a new folder at /var/www/bnt and set Apac...

Is there a way to run this script on HTTPS?
I have just recently set up my web server for SSL HTTPS, using a certificate from an accredited certificate authority, all HTTP access is now redirected, but not BNT, is there a way to run BNT under HTTPS?

Re: Map does not show places visited.
LOL, well it has baffled me, I know I don't use that for our live versions, I run a heavy modified / hacked version of it set to work on our live server. If you know SVN you could try the latest code version, but its not been updated since 2014. https://sourceforge.net/p/blacknova/code/HEAD/tree/br...
