It's also a game with very old code written in a old style - younger programmers may not find it interesting to work on.

I started my own fork of the Starkick fork sometime ago - also on Sourceforge - but never got very far other than making the code work again on the then current version of PHP.

Now I'm an older programmer and find that sort of coding familiar, but I too had a batch of ill health which stopped me in my tracks . It could just be that all likely developers are just getting too old......

Maybe I'll dig it out and stick on a server somewhere.

You missed out the "mixed" with the old style

I still look at the code sometimes and think to myself, WTF, why are we doing it this way, and also see code that I have no clue what its doing in there :?

Oh and don't get me started on the repetitive code that is happening everywhere, I removed loads of them a while back and there is still loads in there.

Oh WOW! Radas :D I remember you!

I used to play as 'Rincewind' 'ORION MASTER' etc. on Gamers-Gateway BNT games!

I remember you won some games, can't remember correctly.. I one 2 games as well, but mostly they were won by Jute or Homeslice, IIRC.

Remember korn, Victoria, Wrighty :D

Those were the times. My first really good online gaming experience.

Thanks TMD for keeping this alive, hope to see some games with some players.
