Cookie Consent EU Compliancy

Post by TheMightyDude » Tue Sep 13, 2016 14:14 UTC

Ok, I thought it was about time I added the Cookie Consent EU Compliancy.

Not every section has it, only the offline page and the forums have it so far.

As far as I can see it creates a cookie that lasts for a year.

I thought that it was gone?

If not, I guess we should put it back in the game? Gah, I was happy to see it go. Nice work here on it though, relatively painless.

Well I wasn't too sure, I keep seeing it popup that same banner that cookies are being used, also that same site you posted the link to is still doing updates to it.

So I am now unsure, but if its no longer needed why keep updating the service using their bandwidth and their cost, it wouldn't make sense.

As for on here, I only needed to add a few lines of code to add the settings of the style of the popup and the including of the JS file, so all in all 3 to 4 lines, so yeah, it wasn't that hard to add.
